The Nacional Cement Company (NCC) Yemen is considered to be the Yemen’s first private sector cement plant.
NCC selected the German company KHD as General Contractor for the supply of the equipment for the Lahj greenfield plant, located around 70 Km. north-east from the city of Aden, and designed for a capacity of 1.6 million tons of cement production per annum.
The Challenge Achieved
KHD appointed TAIM WESER for the supply of the stockyard machinery and belt conveyors system for raw materials blending bed, which included two stacker, two side reclaimers and one bridge reclaimer for handling of limestone, clay, sandstone, iron, gypsum, in the raw materials stockyard area of the plant.
